Privacy Notice on Website Analytics, Access Logs and Cookies

This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the related Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, to explain which personal data are processed when you visit this website.

1. Data controller

The website at alanyaveterineri.com is operated by Velaris Dijital (the "Site Operator"). The personal data described in this notice are processed by the Site Operator acting as data controller. Contact: info@alanyaveterineri.com

2. Personal data processed

  • Transaction security data: IP address, request time, requested page address, HTTP status code, browser and operating system information (user agent).
  • Approximate location: Estimated country, province and district derived from the IP address. This is not a precise address; your device's GPS or location services are not used.
  • Visitor and session identifiers: A randomly generated visitor identifier and a session identifier stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). They do not directly reveal your identity.
  • Site usage data: Pages viewed, the address or source you arrived from (referrer and campaign parameters), time spent on each page, how far each page was scrolled, links and buttons clicked, and the date and time of the visit.
  • Device and browser information: Screen resolution and browser language.

Identity and contact data such as name, phone number or e-mail address are processed only if you fill in a form on the site or type them into the chat assistant yourself, and only for the purpose stated in that form or chat. The analytics measurement described in this notice does not collect such data.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Keeping the site secure and available; detecting and resolving attacks, abuse and technical errors.
  • Statistical analysis of site usage; measuring which pages are visited, where visitors come from and how content is used.
  • Improving content, design and functionality; enhancing the visitor experience.

The data collected are not used to build advertising profiles, are not sold to third parties and are not used to track visitors across different websites.

4. Legal basis

Your personal data are processed under Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK on the basis of the Site Operator's legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and in measuring its use in order to improve it, provided that this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. The visitor identifier stored in your browser is a cookie-like technology; you can disable it at any time using the methods described in Section 7. Retention obligations arising from applicable law are reserved.

5. Transfers and storage location

  • The site is served through the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc., which provides content delivery and security services. Your requests pass through Cloudflare servers and the country information is determined by Cloudflare.
  • To determine the approximate province and district, your IP address is sent to the ip-api.com geolocation service located outside Turkey. No data other than the IP address is sent to this service and the result is used only for statistics.
  • Data are stored on servers located in Germany (Frankfurt) belonging to Hostinger International Ltd., the Site Operator's hosting provider. Your data are therefore transferred abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK.
  • Data may be shared with competent public authorities where required by law.

Apart from the above, your personal data are not transferred to third parties.

6. Retention periods

  • Analytics event data (page views, clicks, time on page and similar) are kept for at most 90 days and are deleted automatically afterwards.
  • Server access logs are kept for at most 14 days and are deleted automatically afterwards.
  • The visitor identifier in your browser is kept until you delete it or disable it via the link in Section 7; the session identifier is kept until you close the browser tab.

7. Opting out of analytics

To opt out of analytics measurement you can click here. Your choice is stored only in this browser and no measurement will take place on your future visits. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings or enable the "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" setting; no measurement takes place while these signals are on. Server access logs kept for site security are not affected by this choice.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed; to request information if they are; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom the data are transferred in Turkey or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data were transferred; to object to a result arising against you from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.

You may submit your requests in writing or by e-mail to the contact address given in Section 1, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If your request is rejected, the answer is insufficient or no answer is given in time, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
